The main town and port in the
Principality of Gefiel, Gildoz is a small and sleepy port lying astride
a large river. The people of Gildoz are famous for their rowing skills
and there is an annual race of the best boatmen from Gildoz to Imradd in
the late spring. Slavers from the south actively seek out the men of
Gildoz because they are such good rowers (having massive arm muscles)
for impressment into the galley crews. |

is a large principality to the south of Imradd and north of Leddim
Thear. The ruler of Gefiel is always a prince of the Royal House of
Imradd. The main town is Gildoz, on the coast. The land is inhospitable
and sparsely populated. |

humble place, being a port and market town. |
