PRINCIPALITY OF ALIBAZ

A small country near Heavenmoss Forest, this principality is mostly poor, hilly countryside. They say the only town (also called Alibaz) is a nest of corsairs and pirates who range up and down the west coast in search of plunder and booty.

EMIRATE OF OUTER BLARRID

An Emirate on the West coast, this was the inheritance of the eldest son of Sultan Gorrizab III and his heirs. The current ruler, Emir Gorrizab the Fourteenth is a peaceful man and the first Emir of Outer Blarrid not to have a war with his relatives in Inner and Far Blarrid.

ZIMBLE

The capital of Outer Blarrid, Zimble has a good harbour at the mouth of a large river. On the other side of the river lies another city called Dagban, which also has a good harbour. The two cities are often in conflict over fishing grounds and harbour dues but the disputes rarely escalate to war!

GROTHIN

The capital city of Inner Blarrid is famed for it’s sweets and deserts. There are whole markets selling sherbets, ices, sorbets, chocolates and sugared fruits and almonds. Needless to say the dental surgeons in the town do very well and many of the older inhabitants have to limit their enjoyment of the merchandise to sucking and sipping since chewing is now beyond their toothless abilities!

DAGBAN

This caliphate and city sits on the west coast and south of the Blarrids. Dagban is not a particularly prosperous place, being, as it is, squeezed between the western sea and the Great Scrub. The Caliph of Dagban does, however, have a magnificent palace and a harem (they say) second to none on the west coast. Because Dagban sits astride the only good road running down the west coast the Caliph enjoys a very healthy income from Tariffs and Charges made upon merchants going both north and south.
