A
Duchy near the great mountains and west of Imradd, the main town of
which is called Senmid. It is a rather poor farming area and quite
hilly. There are stone quarries in the hills to the north-west of
Senmid. |

The
principle town in the Duchy of West Thar, Senmid is an important river
crossing and has a large and foreboding castle that overlooks the town.
There are several wooden and stone bridges here, many stonemasons live
and work in the town or in the nearby quarries. |
| EAST COMBE |

This
village and valley in West Thar is on a path leads to one of the few
passes to cross the Blue Mountains. There is also a tall tower on a hill
just outside the village that dominates the path. |
| COUNTY OF GALDIN |

A
county in Redune, the principle town is Tordham, the Lord of which is
Baron Sparn. He is a ruthless, bloodthirsty man. Galdin is a very poor
place, the main trades being farming and livestock herding. There is a
feud between the ruling families of Galdin and Westle which has been
going on for generations, this often escalates into open warfare. |

Sparn, an unpleasant man, rules this small town in the County of Galdin
in Redune. The town is next to a ford crossing a small river and is
rather dingy and provincial. |

Westfold
is a small rural village on the edge of some woods, there is a small
castle which is really only a fortified manor. |
