BARONY OF WESTLE |
|
A Barony owing service to
Redune and Imradd, principle town Dirillim. Westle is not very
prosperous in the north but there is good farmland in the around
Dirillim. The area is famous for its beer. |

OLDFORD |
|
Oldford is a small town in the
Barony of Westle. The town mainly lies on the north side of the river,
whilst the south bank of the river is in the county of Galdin. There is
a good stone bridge where the ford once crossed the river and on the
south side (in Galdin) there is a massive stone cattle overlooking the
ford and the east to west road. This castle belongs to the Count of
Galdin, who has always claimed that the town belongs to him! |

DIRILLIM |
|
The principle town in the
county of Westle, Dirillim has high stonewalls and four huge gates. It
is a centre for the brewing of the famous Westle Beers. There are three
main breweries, plus associated trades such as coopering (barrel making)
and yeast cultivation. Some of the well-known brews are: Westle Wallop,
Nine X (very strong) and Arthur’s Tipple. |

COUNTY OF GALDIN |
|
A county in the Empire of
Redune, the principle town is Tordham, the Lord of which is Baron Sparn.
He is a ruthless, bloodthirsty man. Galdin is a very poor place, the
main trades being farming and livestock herding. There is a feud between
the ruling families of Galdin and Westle which has been going on for
generations, this often escalates into open warfare. |

NOILLEN |
|
The county town of East Thar in
Redune, Noillen is situated on a fairly important river crossing. It is
walled and has a large castle that dominates the ford. There is a weekly
livestock market. |

CALLOR |
|
Callor is the chief city of the
Duchy of Gothime. A large bustling place and centre for inland trade.
There are several markets here where almost anything can be purchased.
There is also a large castle on a hill opposite the city that overlooks
the great north road. |

DUCHY OF GOTHIME |
|
A dukedom in the Empire of
Redune, the principle settlement of which is the city of Callor. This is
the heartland of Redune and contains numerous villages and good farming
land. Gothime produces large quantities of wheat and vegetables that are
usually sold west to Imradd. Great trains of ox-wagons can be seen
heading that way regularly, heavily laden with the fruits of the Duchy.
The Duke, who’s palace can be found in Callor, is a calm and kindly
man, his main passion is for his army. Although there are not many
soldiers in it, they are all superbly drilled and dressed in fine
uniforms of red and gold. |

NINE BARROWS HILL |
|
This
mysterious hill contains some ancient barrows in the borderlands between
Soltin Torrad and the Northern Realms. |
